The 4th International Conference of Smart City Innovation (ICSCI) will soon be held on 23rd -25th October 2023 at the Hilton Hotel in Bali Indonesia. ICSCI was initially held in Bandung in 2018. It was then held again in subsequent years such as in Semarang in 2019 and in Bali in 2020. Looking back at previous implementations, SMART CITY Universitas Indonesia organizes the 2023 ICSCI, which will be the 4th organization, continuing its success. Interestingly, the 4th ICSCI will be conducted in conjunction with the Quality in Research (QiR) 2023, which will provide opportunities to exchange new ideas and research experiences on the theme of a Smart and Sustainable City.
The 4th ICSCI will cover the main theme on Future Cities - Smart and Sustainable, which includes but not limited to topics such as Ecological Urban Sustainability, Smart Urban Governance, Redefining the Urban–Rural Nexus, Smart Mobility, Urban and Regional Innovation Ecosystem, Sustainable food production, and Smart Urban Farming. The application is currently open, and all applicants are encouraged to apply before 20th June 2023 for the Full Paper Submission. The Full Paper Acceptance will be notified no later than 15th August 2023. While the early registration is highly recommended, the shortlisted applicants may before 15th August 2023. Moreover, the conference will feature the invited key-note speakers, such as: Prof. Subhro Guhathakurta (Georgia Tech, USA), Prof. Wen Yonggang (Nanyang Technological Institute, Singapore), and Hong Seung Soo (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency).
Beyond this valuable opportunity, all the Accepted Papers will be published in one of internationally-indexed, or Scopus-indexed journals or proceedings with an additional fee might be charged for: 1. Smart City Journal (e-ISSN: 2962-780X, DOI, Indeks Google Scholar, Indeks Garuda, Dimension, Scilit), 2. International Journal of Technology (Q2 Journal, H-index 17), and 3. AIP Proceeding (H-index 75).
SMART CITY Universitas Indonesia actively participates in advancing and sharing knowledge on Smart City. This 2023 ICSCI aims to further expand its contribution in developing Smart City for the betterment of society.
