Supported by SMART CITY, World Class Professor held a Scientific Workshop inviting students, researchers, and lecturers to attend the workshop themed: "Process Safety in Industries". Held on October 10, 2019, at Auditorium MRPQ of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, the workshop was attended by more than 100 registered participants from various academic backgrounds. The speakers featured were Prof. Azmi B Mohd Shariff from the Chemical Engineering Department of Universiti Teknologi Petronas, who delivered the topic of “Process Safety Management” and Dr. Mila Tejamaya from the Department of Occupational Health and Safety, Universitas Indonesia with her topic “Health Risk Assessment in Oil and Gas Industries”.
This workshop is part of World Class Professor program, which invites professors from within and outside of the country to become visiting professors in Indonesia’s universities. The program aims to bring together local lecturers and researchers with world-class professors to enhance their competence, quality, and contribution to the development of science and technology in Indonesia.
