[Event] The 3rd International Conference on Smart City Innovation

29-10-2020

On October 27-28th 2020, Smart City Universitas Indonesia together with Universitas Udayana and AUN-SEED/Net conducted their very first online conference The 3rd International Conference on Smart City Innovation (ICSCI) – in conjunction with The 13th Regional Conference on Energy Engineering (RCEneE).  Over 153 participants via Webex and more than 260 participants via YouTube live discussed the contribution that smart city innovation and energy can bring to the development of spatial constructs from both national and global perspectives. The conference also looked at the themes of infrastructure, quality of life, as well as ICT application in real-life situations.

The event was hosted by Universitas Udayana virtually from Bali and officially opened with greetings by Muhammad Dimyati (Secretary General of Ministry of Research), Dedi Priadi (Vice Rector of Universitas Indonesia), I Gede Antara (Vice Rector of Universitas Udayana) and Tamon Ueda (Director of AUN-SEED/Net).

For two days, several keynote lectures, as well as four rounds of panel sessions sparked a fruitful exchange among participants.

This year, ICSCI was also honoured to receive generous sponsorship from AUN-SEED/Net – which allows several our participants to be waived from the registration and publication fees. The conference has gathered five (5) of sponsored participants, spanning from ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

The next ICSCI will be held in 2021.
