Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari, M.Sc., M.M. is a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. She studied master's degree in computer science at University of Sheffield in 1996, United Kingdom, funded by British Council Chevening Award. She continued her doctoral degree in computing at University of Leeds, United Kingdom, until 2004. Her research focus is on Protocol Engineering, Multimedia Network, Vehicular Area Network, Internet of Things, and IT Implementation, 5G Technology, Lora, NB-IoT, and Blockchain.
She is a senior member of the Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), receiving Most Inspiring Engineer Award 2012 in Kalkota, India. In 2009, she was named The Most Outstanding Lecturer at the University of Indonesia, and then the third winner of the National Selection of the Most Outstanding Lecturer by the Ministry of National Education of Republic of Indonesia. Prof. Sari has been the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities since 2010.
She has writtern more than 55 International Journal Papers, 130 International Indexed Scientific Papers, 11 books, and granted 11 patents and intellectual property rights.
