Dr. Ir. Widodo Wahyu Purwanto is a professor in Sustainable Energy at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. He received master's degree from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France, in 1989. He then continued his doctoral degree at the same university from 1989 to1992. In 2007, he became the Head of Chemical Engineering Department as well as professor at Faculty of Engineering (Sustainable Energy), Universitas Indonesia. He is currently teaching courses on chemical engineering, such as suistanable energy and product and plant design.
